With 200+ scandals under their belts the liberals deserve every bit of scrutiny they get. Just because you think this country should be governed by theives and liars dont make it right.

I don't consider the liberals thieves and liars any more then you and the other conservatives view the CPC as a bastardized republican party. I think the best possible government right now is part Liberal part CPC. Assuming either group can get past the pointless hate, they represent the majority of CDNs.
Answer this: Considering that it is almost certain eithe the Libs or CPC will form a minority gov't who should team up?
Do you want a conservative-bloc government? The only people who want that are the seperatists on either side?
CPC-NDP? Considering that a major factor of the NDP support loss was because of Liberal private healthcare leanings, a good portion of the CPC platform I doubt very much that will work.
CPC-Lib? If they both find compromises they can live with then it just might work. The CPC just can't figure out that its their alliance type stance on social issues that kills them in the east and the Libs must have some sort of partnership with a "western party", which the CPC is, in order to start bridging the gap.

Why compromise? Lets just get rid of the corrupt politicians period, there is no middle ground, there should be no place in parliament for liars or theives. If you cant see the light after 200 scandals then dont bitch when you hear Alberta or Quebec talking seperation when the libs get back in.Some of us have morals you know.

Martin was cleared but its not enough for you guys. All those 200 scandals, and most are BS, are endemic to politics. The Liberals have done a magnificent job in the economy and when all is said and done that is what concerns most Canadians. Thats why the PCs were evicerated. Thats why kyoto won't work, because its involves too much of an impact on jobs and the economy.
Morals? CPC and morals are 2 very subjective terms. My morals could never allow discrimination against a segment of the population yet it is a popular consrvative stamp. I seriously doubt you voted liberal back when Chretein came to power. Its morals that keep liberals like me from supporting the CPC when they say time and time again they will take away a basic freedom that I believe strongly in. If the Libs supported banning private gun ownership (the registry is far from that then I would drop support for them so fast your head will spin.
You talk of Ab seperation? I hear time & time again about albertans who demand the east listen to them but they never ever ever vote anything but conservative, both provincially & federally. Every other province shifts between parties except them yet the cry is "give the conservatives a chance". They should practice what they preach.
I could care less if the entire party I vote for was born in Red Deer as long as it reflected my views.
What would you say if Wainright (or any northern AB city near oil/gas reserves) said "do what we want or we'll take our oil and leave you?
Ohh.... Compromise? Thats is their job. In a minority government it should be the 2 largest parties to compromise to make it work. That's their job. Everyone else has to figure out how to work with people they don't like so why can't they?
