I was just wondering, if you're away for school during the election, where you're going to vote? Do you still vote in your hometown, even though you don't live there anymore, or do you vote wherever you go to school?
I really don't care about the city, and I don't know much about the candidates, so I'm thinking I'll be headed down home for the election.
Don't you go to school in your hometown? I would wager you vote wherever there is a polling station.
Well, you need to register in a specific riding, and no, I'm from this place (heaven forbid), so there's a choice between voting here, or going back home... if you vote based on the national party or national leader, I guess it doesn't matter.
Pssst...Tman1...he's NDP. Don't tell him where the polling stations are.
Well, I don't know what you mean since I live in a place 600 km away from my hometown so I can't just "go" to my hometown just to vote. Western Canada is a pretty damn big place. Kinda different than Nova Scotia.
Well, I make no bones. I would probably vote PC, it's time for a change and it's not even about the scandal as I don't care about that crap. I have no problems with the Liberals though being in power for a decade+ warrents some change I would think.
You could try and fill out an absentee ballot if you are going to be out of your riding during the election.
I plan on voting up here not back 'home'. I'm going to be spending more time in oshawa over the next 2 1/2 years anyway
