Harper raises prospect of Prime Minister Dion

Stephen Harper has raised the prospect of "Prime Minister Dion" in an unorthodox but calculated Conservative bid to sharpen the choices faced by voters just a long weekend away from decision day.
I think this is a mistake on Harper's part. Dion's numbers are going up while Harper's are going down, so it's unlikely to have the effect of frightening people.
A new poll out today shows the libs at 47% and harper at 42% the NDP at 32 a coalition between the NDP and the libs would wipe the torys out.. on the news today they said the majority of Canadians dont want a tory govt ...
anytime the phrase "majority of Canadians" is used you can pretty much call that a liberal talking point and toss it in the toilet.
Which poll is that, Kenmore?

If I were a considering voting Conservative, I'd be offended by the idea that Stephen Harper thinks people are really scared of Stephane Dion, especially after he's spent his entire time as Prime Minister running "NOT A LEADER" attack ads about that very person.
But I'm not voting Conservative, so instead I find it silly and ridiculous. Stephen Harper is as predictable as the sun rising every day. This just magnifies how bitter and cynical he is, that he got his sour grapes.

Likewise the majority of Canadians don't want a Liberal, NDP, or Green government either.
So your point is?

Yet his strategy worked as the Conservatives numbers are rising and liberal numbers are declining.
I'm scared of Dion as PM.
The only thing Dion brings is a different voice and name to a whole new set of taxes.
Everything west of manitoba better just hunket down for a shitstorm till he's gone.
