Ten reasons to oppose the Harper candidate in your riding
I'm sick of Harper's growing disdain for Parliament and parliamentary procedure. Policies aside, he prorogues Parliament when it suits his personal politics, rather than when it benefits Canada.
The contempt of Parliament charges are serious; it would be akin to somebody lying in the witness box and then telling you to go fuck yourself for pointing it out.
Ignatieff, you have my vote...don't lose it by doing something stupid on the campaign trail.

Wow. Roll on the 3rd May.

WOW is this place ever heavy with sour puss Liberals.

They banned all the sour puss Conservatives
All this doesn't really matter in the end. While Stephen Harper is no saint, the Liberals still have not convinced me that they are not the same party that took taxpayer money and handed it to their cronies. If the Canadian by some freak accident public votes them into power, we will get the same hijinks we did during the Chretien era within a year and a nameless few here will turn the turn the other way for partisan reasons. Mark my words.
The Liberal Party is not fit to run an ant farm, much less the country. As for this whole "Contempt of Parliament" issue, it is really a sham because it is partisan posturing that shows that the Liberals, NDP, and the Bloc have just as much contempt for Parliament as the Conservatives, if not more.
Maybe Rex Murphy was right when he said, "Harper was only catching up 'with the rest of us. Who doesn’t hold Parliament in contempt?'" Who doesn't indeed.

That's what I say when someone accuses Harper of being a fascist: then why are we having an election?
You know what I say when someone accuses Harper of being a fascist? I say "Get a job, stoopid."

Funny. Funnier still that Harper has never had a job.

I'd + rep you about five points for this one if you had the system for it turned on. You said here everything that I know and believe to be 100% true about the Liberal Party and their never-ending self-serving arrogance.

Money Mismanagment:
We didn't create a $16 billion surplus, without robbing from our soldiers and unemployed by the tune of $60 billion. We stole from Peter to pay Paul. Not my definition of balancing our cashflow.
Fossil fuel fools:
I'm not blind. We may blame Alberta for producing dirty oil, but when I look around my home town in Ont. I have no doubt that we are adicted to oil, and we help drive the demand for it.
Tortured nation:
nice opinion, based on a disgruntled bureaucrat that lost his job. Even Lee Iacoca bad mouthed Ford when he lost his job.
weapons Obsession:
I thought they got a good price. Not long ago, it would have cost $1 billion dollars just for a couple Stealth fighters.
Not Smart on Crime:
Relax, I'm not smart on crime, either. I make frequent references to murderers, druglords, and psychotic shooters whenever I debated gun safety with properly trained hunters and farmers.I even blame the hunters and farmers every time someone in Toronto gets shot by an illegally smuggled handgun from the USA.
International Humiliation:
Yep, and I was so embarassed when he played a Stones song, everyone knows that a good self respecting Leader should like the Beatles.
Big Brother
I must apologize for my overzealous colleagues, give them enough of a leash and they will drag out the Hilter comparisons, too.
"I make the Rules"
Good god, Man, he was on an ATV and having a little fun.....I get it. I think its sad that others dont
Scandalous Behaviour:
We wont admit to our scandalous behaviour, why would I expect them to?
Broken Promises:
Cretien broke his promises, and I still love him.

Saw it was a Rabble link and puked a little in my mouth. Posted this and am moving on. No arguments or post worthy to even comment on in that dump.
Thanos @ Sat Mar 26, 2011 9:35 pm
Rabble? Yay. I imagine that fairly soon, if he isn't back here already under a different name, we'll be getting our usual return engagement from Rev. B. Liar so he can goat-ass the forum with his Liberal/Dipper/Bloc/Green bullshit routine the way he does every election. Whooo-hooo.....?

The Liberals I've spoken with in the last few days -- many of whom were already upset that Ignatieff's performance over the past few years, -- are rolling their eyeballs at the way Ignatief slipped up and spoke about rejecting the budget before he even read it. Why should I give him any slack on this? Were we supposed to cut Ignatieff "slack" when he declared Quebec a "nation"? When he accused Israel of "war crimes" in its fight against Hezbollah? How is it "lunatic literalism" to take these words at their plain meaning? Ignatieff lost his first round at the Liberal leadership because he made deliberate verbal gambits that backfired - not because anyone distorted what he had to say. Now I say its time for Mr. Ignatieff to lose his first election.

Well alrighty then. We'll just say building infrastructure is solely the reponsibility of private enterprise and the province and build prisons then.
Not.
I don't toe that Party line, because I'm a socialist. The gov't can and should say 'we want 4 lanes and more fibre, here's $1 billion to start'. And I'll be assisting to send an NDP to Ottawa again.
