Tories slip in polls but hold onto lead

OnTheIce OnTheIce:
Lemmy, I know this may come as a shock, but you're not always right.
Of course. Granted. But I'm right this time.
OnTheIce OnTheIce:
Regardless of what I'd post, you'd say I was wrong and do your best to talk down to me, as you often do.
It's never been my intention to talk down to you. I'm sorry you think that.
OnTheIce OnTheIce:
My opinion isn't wrong, just different than from what you think.
I was hoping you'd explain to me why I'M WRONG. I'd love to have a reason to vote, but I don't see one except to vote Green as a protest.

Fascist bastard

OnTheIce OnTheIce:
I don't think they're the same at all. Each party has a completely seperate philosophy on how to run government and collect tax dollars.
How so?
OnTheIce OnTheIce:
There are plenty of differences and many similiarities as well.
Coke and Pepsi. Any differences are so subtle that they sure as hell aren't enough to argue over.
Let's just agree to disagree.
Well, why not explain the differences you see. I think Lemmy has a point - two names for the essentially the same product. NDP is kinda like Dr Pepper. Bloc is Mountain Dew - just plain crappy and very bad for you.
Which is Coke and which is Pepsi?
Well I prefer Coke when mixing an alcoholic drink... I hate when I ask for a Jack & Coke and end up with Jack & Pepsi. There's a huge difference.
But if I just want a Cola, it's Pepsi all the way.
Root Beer anyone? ![Drink up [B-o]](./images/smilies/drinkup.gif)

Might as well associate them by colour.

I'm sorry but I call "BULLSHIT".

No offense, but I've heard this tale 100 times, including from my wife, and EVERY time I've challenged someone to pick the two colas apart in a blind taste-test they've failed. And I've spent A LOT of time in bars; I have a good sample size for this study. If you can tell Coke and Pepsi apart consistently, you're the first person I've seen that could do so when challenged.

I'm a 7-up man, but you'd never sneak a Sprite by me.
I can pick between diet coke and diet pepsi.

I don't use pop in any alcoholic drink but root beer is the only pop I drink.
Here's something I really like though, spruce beer.

You're probably right. Blind taste test, Coke or Pepsi straight up, I don't know if I could tell the difference. But mixed with Jack I definitely can every time.

I guess I've hijacked this thread from the hacks too, this time without....
...wait...
Guard: Where'd you get the coconuts?
Arthur: We found them.
Guard: Found them? In Mercia?! The coconut's tropical!
Arthur: What do you mean?
Guard: Well, Mercia's a temperate zone!
Arthur: The swallow may fly south with the sun, and the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land.
Guard: ... Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate?

This ain't the non-alcoholic kind that's got more sugar than Mountain Dew is it?

Santa Cruz Organic root beer! Awesome! Just that little hint of sasparilla that makes it awesome.
I tried Spruce beer once, and liked it. Can't get it out west at all though. Iiiii'm a lumberjack and I'm OK, I work all night and I sleep all day! Oh, sorry, don't know where that came from.

Who you going to vote for Andy?
Whatever candidate has the best chance of defeating the CPC. I won't be voting for anybody, but against Harper.

That must make it hurt even more every time he wins.
Yep, searing pain in my nether regions every time. But at least it looks like he won't win a majority, which is all I really ask.
