CFL - 2012 Season - 100 years of sporting history

Yeah, the first game was pretty entertaining. Seemed weird to see Burris and Ray in their new uniforms. As for the Lions game, it was pretty much what should happen in a Lions / Riders game......
I am kinda pissed their not showing the Als / Bombers game. But, I've come to expect such things from "Canada's" sports channels....there must be an Ethiopian Poker tournament on.....

Either that or a Toronto spelling bee!

I know it's just the preseason but I did expect a better showing by the Riders. The Bombers play in Montreal tomorrow but it doesn't seem anybody wants to televise the game.

I, sadly, did not. Ever since Eric Tillman grabbed is babysitters butt (high on prescription meds) and left for Edmonton, our key players have looked like rats leaving a sinking ship.
I could be wrong, but I think Rider Nation is in for a rough spell.

You never know though. Look at the crappy start the Lions had last year... and where they ended up at the end of the season

My son surprised me yesterday, loaded me up in his car and we drove to Montreal to see the Als lose. Still, I'm not complaining. We were in the VanDoos section... they had reserved places for all the men and women going to Afghanistan in October. We were at field level and NO cute girl was safe when they walked in front of this section, including the cheerleaders... the guys would actually start singing. At one point near the end of the game, they caught the mascot and body-surfed him.
There were about 10 Expos from the 1981 season as the Als special guests... Warren Cromartie, Andre Dawson, Larry Parrish, Tim Raines, Bill (Spaceman) Lee and a few others. A lot of memories for sure.
Photo taken during the national anthem... before they had too many beers in them.

Yeah, that one vote was mine.

Montreal Alouettes !!!!
And so Anthony Calvillo should retire at the end of the season as he wins the Grey Cup and make the rest of the league seem as a bunch of amateurs.

I like all the stamps... except for Toronto's, of course.
Strutz @ Tue Jun 26, 2012 11:06 pm
I think I'll buy the set of stamps for sure. Just because...
Awesome to see the weekly "line-up" posted QBC!
Hope to be home from work in time for kick-off on Friday night for the Lions game.
