I'm not sure who's going to win this one, maybe no one. This is not a joke, second quarter, Hamilton blocks a Winnipeg punt and gets good field possition. The very next play, Hamilton throws an interception, Winnipeg get's the ball back. The very next play, Winnipeg throws an interception, Hamilton ball. No wonder these two teams are the bottom of the league.

Oh, Winnipeg just scored a TD, Winnipeg 14 - Hamilton 0

DerbyX DerbyX:
I have a question for all CFL football fans out there. The thing that bothers me the most about the CFL is the amount of dropped passes, fumbles, etc. Critics maintain that it is an indicator of skill level but I think the real culprit is that our ball is bigger. It would not bother me to adopt a smaller ball in order to combat this. Nothing gets fans down on a team worse then dropped passes (that should have been caught). Comments & critiques are appreciated.

Well Derby, CFL critics don't have to watch the games in my opinion. Now, changing the ball size, that could help the recievers and QB's out a bit.

What I want to know is, what the f*** is going on with my Riders? I saw the wins but I haven't seen all these losses. I expected them to go 18-0 and win the Grey Cup!

PDT_Armataz_01_34 Sadly doesn't look that way but maybe they will win 8 games in a row like last time. Too many butterfingers on the team.

21-7 for Winnipeg in the 3rd Quarter right now...

QBC @ Sat Aug 13, 2005 8:18 pm

Kahari Jones looks not too bad for his first outing coming in in relief tonight. 35-7 now, Winnipeg scored again on a pretty play

The Riders just seem to be their own worst enemy this year. They have no confidence in any of their QB's, their defence is like swiss cheese, a team in turmoil.

Sure QBC, twist the knife harder, just keep twisting. J/K

Sorry Tman...I truly am...........There were many a year here in BC I hung my head in shame because of the Lions. You can take some comfort in the fact the Riders have more wins than Hamilton......... :P

I'm back from my road trip, and three losses by Saskatchewan. Wow, life sucks. I can't believe the Calgary is ahead of Sask now. I was able to watch a bit of the slaughter by Montreal, I'm glad I didn't see either losses to Calgary. Zany must be very very happy. I ain't.

QBC @ Sun Aug 14, 2005 6:47 pm

The Riders need a real shake up, maybe a new QB, but their defence needs to get some balls out there. They're getting pushed all over the place by other teams offensive lines.

I hear the Riders are blaming their losses on injuries. :?

Hester @ Tue Aug 16, 2005 10:26 pm

Gotta blame someone. They should try aliens next. [cry]

Surprise, Surprise! The Lions defeated the Tiger-Cats and are now 8-0!!! Looks like we're in Saskatchewan next week...

QBC @ Sun Aug 21, 2005 7:40 am

The Lions walked on them in the first half, then the defence took over and shut the T-Cats offence down in the second.

The Toronto / Edmonton game was pretty good last night. Too bad the CBC had no play by play for the entire game? What the hell was that? I had to listen to the commentary from the guy in the background that does it for Commonwealth stadium. Was still a fun game to watch though.
