Geroy had a great game, Bruce did too. If Johnson hadn't dropped a couple of those passes he would have had a huge night, as it was he made several key grabs. The Lions D was "destructive" as the one announcer called them. Looserlay (the name he gets until he wins the Grey Cup for BC) needs a few more years as a backup, he's not ready to be a starter. Too young and inconsistent yet, flashes of brilliance and then a string of stink. I thought Robertson had a solid game running the ball, but they called too many draw plays and he got slammed a few times. Promising play from him though.
The Eski's did implode. They have way too many injuries all at once to maintain the level of play they had through the first 5 games. But I still think their offencive line has been brutally bad and is the major cause of their three game loosing streak. Here's hoping they get their shit together for their back to backs against the Stamps.
We got the shitty games out of the way last week... now it's time for the good ones.
Well, I missed most of it but got home in time for the 4th anyway.
Good win by the Lions! 2 in a row now!
Sask 27 - Winnipeg 7...........Beauty! This was an important win for the Riders especially against the Best in the West. Sure, the boo-birds will say it was just one win but what I saw yesterday was a much improved team and one that played better than it had for most of the season. Darian looked great in and out of the pocket and our defense showed that Winnipeg had better get working on their offense again. With every chance that Andy will be back for the Banjo Bowl next week, I have a better feeling about the team then I have had all year.
Go, Riders, Go.
I missed a few weeks, life is rough when you spend all your free time either fishing or hunting....
The Argos leading the Blue Bombers.
So, what's up with that ''Swaggerville'' crap. Let the Blue Bombers win a few games, not only that, a few Grey Cups. Only then they could stand to be arrogant. Til then, they are merely another CFL team, unlike the Alouettes that is an awesome team.
Lions are now 6-6
After such a rough start to the season it's good to see them get to this point. Hopefully they can keep the win streak going.

There were some amazing plays this week!!!!!!
Thigpen from Hamilton should be player of the week in several categories though, what a game from him at Touchdown Atlantic!!!!!
Montreal beats Winnipeg 32-26 ....WOW, just WOW, what a finish....
The BC Lions beat the Eskimos 33-24, moving into a three-way tie for first place in the CFL's West Division. The Lions have 14 points, along with Calgary (7-5) and Edmonton (7-6).....
I haven't had a chance to watch the game from last night...But I would agree that the Officials determined the outcome of the Argo game.
I think that the Bombers have had a great season without a functional offense. I think everything from here will be a bonus.
