Under the Corporation Returns Act, Statistics Canada is required to collect information on the country of control for all companies in Canada. They put out a book called Intercorporate Ownership, which is updated every once and a while. It will identify the legal relationship between larger corporations and identify the country hat controls the business. It may not be in your local library, but it should be available in your university library.
