National ID Cards.

National ID cards represent nothing more than another bureaucracy. A totally redundant measure designed to satisfy the demands by the US to "take a tough stand" on terrorism. <br /> <br />If you already have a Social Insurance Number, driver's license, healthcard, birth certificate, marriage/baptism certificate, passport, student card, immigration card, or even a credit card is all the proof of citizenship you need becasue that's all what a National ID card represents: all the pieces of ID listed above, documented on a single card. Like I said, totally unnessecary.

hahaha, on top of all those cards you mentioned I have a status card to boot. I have enough cards. Why have a National ID card when every other card I have does that for me? <br />Then again, maybe on this ID pic I wont look like I just crawled out of bed <img align=absmiddle src='images/smilies/razz.gif' alt='Razz'>

Like I said, totally unnessecary.[/QUOTE] <br /> Theres using the noggin.I agree completely.A friend of mine,already a legal resident of Canada,was in Norway with family.It was a troubling time for them,family stuff,death,you get the idea.In the middle of all that,the wife of the friend I am talking about,has to come all the way back here at her own expense to get the ID card or they won't let her into the country.All the f*cking way for a 3hr ordeal <br />at Immagration then back to Norway to be intime for memorials amd such. <img align=absmiddle src='images/smilies/evil.gif' alt='Evil'>
