I was wondering any of you know of an Obesity Prevention non-profit/NGO in Canada.

I've checked online (Google) and have only found the Canadian Obesity Network, which is "Canada's primary network for researchers, health professionals and other stake holders interested in obesity." Currently, it does not allow the public to join or do anything to help out.

I am looking more for an organization that I can fund-raise for (like the CNIB, Canadian Cancer Society, etc.

Look into supporting your Scouts chapter and/or the Cadet programs in your area. If these were expanded, I think you might see a decrease in obesity rates as more children were able (or aware) of them and took part in their activities.

I'll help start an anti-obesity group. We could end obesity through ridicule and abuse. Or, at the very least, keep them indoors and away from windows.

I'd support womens fashion and main-stream advertizing. If they could reach those who have not conformed, we might yet make an impact.

There is natural way to lose weight. Just join some dance class/club/school etc and dance there for 2 hours daily. Alternatively start swimming everyday. And most importantly control your diet. Stop taking dessert, alcohol, junk food, snacks etc. One may take green tea if required.
