Nah, nothing like that. But if I'm out doing stuff/waiting for something. Like lets say I'm at the doctor's office waiting for an appointment, I'm on my phone. Could be the adhd though.

   

No, I think it's the way your generation found entertainment. Not judging, just comparing. I saw too many parents who would give their kids a screen to distract them. We didn't have such things when I was that age, so I found different entertainment.
when I'm in public places, every younger person I see has to be entertained by something. My entertainment is internal. When I'm on the bus, I'm arranging my day. Planning what to make for dinner. What I'm going to do in the garden on the weekend. What I'm going to turn that pile of wood cutoffs into. Things I couldn't think about if I had music blaring in my ears.

Just differences is all. I even heard one guy comment to his friend - "That guy doesn't have any equipment!' Yea, I have my wallet. I'm not running away from home.

   

Anyone else noticed there's no pile of old magazines in the doctor's waiting room? All noses are buried in their phones?
