now why would go and try to ruin coke for me.... because to answer the last question, sometimes nothing but a coke will do, so yessss... pass the coke please.

WATER forever! no doubts! water is a Gods gift (although i'm not really religious :? )! and coke grits on your teeth! PDT_Armataz_01_33

frankly speaking, i haven't read your passage to the end, Only. :)

I only ever drink it in a slurpee and that is rare anyways.

Coke is also really bad for your kidneys, its that phosphoric acid, too much phosphorus is really hard on yoru kidneys.

Heard it all before.

I can't imagine a can of Coke being much worse for you than the five cups of coffee everyone in my office drinks everyday...odds are this was started by PepsiCo!

kaetz @ Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:24 am

i almost don't drink coffee

Water is the best. Coke does doesn't do anything good for you.

Whew! Good thing I drink Pepsi!

Zoraja @ Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:43 am

coffee isnt as bad, its the caffeine in it that is bad, but that is in coke too. Diet coke is even worse, gotta love those artificial sweeeteners. Mmmmmm aspartame and asesculfame K ( there is no way I spelled that right, but its gotta be close)

Just stick to water and natural fruit and vegetable juices.

danikyvor @ Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:46 am

I don't like drinking water. I drink milk and juice on a daily basis, and do enjoy my coke from time to time.

But water on it's own. Can't drink it.

VitaminC @ Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:47 am

Coffee depends on how much sugar/milk/cream you put in it.....

Real men drink it black! Of course there is that whole caffeine thing.....meh

danikyvor @ Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:47 am

Oh and if coke supposedly dissolves a nail in four days, which is metal, how is it the cans themselves don't corrode?

kaetz @ Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:50 am

have you ever tried water from different natural springs in different parts of the world? this is water on it's own and this is the sweetest thing on earth! never tastes the same!

danikyvor @ Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:56 am

I think it's because it depends on the soil and all that that water runs through too. That's how there are so many different types of whisky. All made with barley, but there are so many different water variations (some run through bogs, some run through mountain/hills, some have slight salt water content etc). It's really interesting to think about!
