The expansion draft was what I paid attention to during the ceremonies.

Las Vegas made out like bandits. And they haven't even finished yet. Today they can start trading all the excess away for even more draft picks on Saturday.

They certainly did pick some good players. It will be interesting to see how they come together as a team.

It's all the draft picks they were able to acquire through side deals that are really going to put them over the top in the long haul. They now have three first rounders in the main NHL draft and I think, it's 10 extra picks if you include the later rounds.

Pardon me, that was what they grabbed that night. They've been dealing the extras they got in the expansion for more main draft picks ever since Wednesday.

Like bandits, I say.
