...Great Hockey Song it deserves. Will you vote?
I listened to the entries and was struck by the fact that 2 or 3 of them (maybe 4 or 5, I lost count) begin with "he shoots, he scores".
Those of us who grew up listening to Foster Hewitt can relate. He became famous for the phrase "He shoots, he scores!" and it looks like his legacy is strong. Maybe we need to revive it for the Leafs to win another cup.

Pick ONE. I reserve judgement because I am struggling to decide. My taste in music is kind of retro (surfing USA) and I'll pick ONE on November 20, 2013, when the REAL voting begins.
It just HAS to be Stompin' Tom's.
It would have been awesome if he was still alive but
Stick with the Bryan Adams song. It's more appropriate for an opening theme song. The Stompin' Tom thing is best suited for breaks in play, like in baseball when they do Take Me Out To The Ball Game for the Chicago Cubs during the seventh-inning stretch.
Either that or Rammstein's Links 2-3-4 would work wonders too.
Hands down I would give it to Stompin' Tom. Not just to Canada as a hockey anthem, but anywhere that hockey is played. It should be mandatory in all arenas. Its part of the game. Every arena that I have ever been in I have heard a National Anthem, the good old hockey game, and ACDC's TNT when a fight breaks out, (for some reason cotton eyed Joe was played at all my kids games).
Any chance a new Canadian Talent will blow us away with a brand new hockey song?
This appears to be the catchiest

Anybody voting, the polls are now open?
Is the contest still on now that Rogers is the new boss.
You know, I think it is already ruined. Who can afford to go to a game these days?
