like it wasnt his fault alfie had his head down and it was with the shoulder and his helmet was not done up properly so if it would he probably his head wouldnt be hurting and i dont see how he hurt his leg

It's a borderline clean hit IMO. Alfredsson had his head down which makes it partly his fault, but Bell came in from what looks like his 8 o'clock which isn't that easy to see in a split-second.

Alfie shoulda had his head up but like xerxes said he kinda came outta the blind spot.

Bells playin for a contract next year - maybe th Flyers could opt for his services
lmao but there is a difference between the flyers hitting and mark bells hit , his was clean lmao

Here's a frame by frame someone did, showing where head/shoulders were at time of impact (not the greatest quality, but still). I don't believe it was a clean hit (even if it is by NHL rule, a headshot is NOT a clean hit and will never understand hockey "fans" who think head shots are exciting and awesome hockey hit), but even this won't change anybody's mind anyway. I see what I see and most people seem to see something else. I have to agree, it was not a late hit though

But at least Alfie had more class and partially blamed himself for being hit like that. Actually Bell took out Fisher's knee as well, blatantly extending his leg to hit him with his knee. Bell, the tough man with the bird cage. Very impressive... As much class as all the Leafs "fans" booing when Alfie got up on his own

The hit was clean, but Bell's a bitch for doing it with the bird cage on, its against the code.

Ok good try but i still dont see it you can go frame by frame because hte quality isnt good in the first one alfie was just goin up and second one was alfie falling after the hit and the third one is just stupid just because his elbow is up dont mean he hit hi, with it and how are you suppose to see if his shoulder is up want him to dislocate it for you

As I said, I'm not going to change your mind and you certainly won't change mine.

Actually Bell dislocating his shoulder is the least of my worries. Karma is a bitch, something he shouldn't forget when his pretty face is not protected by a bird cage next year..

But he made that statement BEFORE he'd seen a replay - OR yur frame by frame.

Have to say that to ME it looks like he was just extending his arm AFTER the hit BUT like you said...

Ya see what ya see.

Agreed tho - pretty C/S to be runnin guys when yur wearing a cage :?

ya but what do you want him to do not hit him like its stupid

and i dont see how he huhrt his leg and i sgree with you on the extending the arm part cause thats what i see and i dont think someone is going to sip there shoulder when there goin to elbow someone

Actually, he made the statement the next day ;) I'm just glad he didn't go all Pat Quinnest or Tuckerest.

The league saw the hit as being clean, and Alfie doesn't seem to be pissed off, so it's all fine and dandy

And I think Fisher would have clocked Bell even with his cage - problem is, Bell took him out before the Alfie hit :?

And please explain to me why Tucker was allowed to threaten Heatley's knees with no consequences? Neil did kinda the same thing (threaten to punch him) to some Montreal player and he got a 10 minute misconduct for it. Anyway, who cares, it's just the Leafs ;)
