Hockey night in Canada
If it weren't for that damn Craig Anderson...!!!
The Habs, aside from game 3, would have probably crushed the Sens, but seriously, Anderson is goaling over his head.
The fucker got a 0,945 average! He's going all "Halak" on us!
Habs played like shit in the 3rd game, but they deserved to win every single other game.
We are getting robbed by a goaler.

The Habs did it so many times to other teams in the past that it's come back to bite them on the ass.

Goaltending is the big one in the playoffs. I saw an interview with Grant Fuhr a few years back and he was joking about he really wasn't that great of a goaltender. He said he was only "great" because of the team he had in front of him. Even on nights when he'd let 3 or more by him, which was often lol, the rest of the Oiler team was usually pretty damn good at getting them back.
He was being modest though because Grant Fuhr was at his best during the playoffs. It was his ability to stop the puck when it was a definite must-save situation that made him great. That guy could spin on his head and spit nickels and STILL stop the puck during the playoffs.
Man, I hated that sum'bitch while he was playing for the Oilers

Exactly and they're getting frustrated by their inability to beat a mediocre goal tender who's playing like the 2013 version of Ray Emery.
I fully expect Anderson to be a mediocre goaltender by next year and once again the Senators will be on their annual quest to fill the position with someone reliable but by then they'll have upset a couple of teams in these playoffs.
To bad one of those teams won't be the Penguins because they aren't gonna get by the Islanders.

Go Senators!!!
Never mind the fact that we were down Price, Eller, Gionta, Prust and White. Oh well.
Well, shit.
Good luck to the Sens, I guess.

Outstanding game by James Reimer to help his team stay in the play-offs - the kid did it and did it well. 43 SAVES! ROCK ON JAMIE! Two good goals by Bozak and McCarther and the steady play of Gardiner and the Leafs take it to Game 6! ROCK ON LEAFS!

Don't know if you are old enough, but Patrick Roy was doing handstands back
in '86 and '93,
and us really old farts remember a young Ken Dryden coming in and
shocking the hell out of everyone.
If I remember well, Dryden won the trophy for best playoff player
beforehe won rookie of the year the year after.
We've had ours......
Just shows a great goalie can change everything;
and one that comes up flat can't be compensated for.

Ottawa isn't Canada, it's the place we send the dregs of our society, politicians. It's kinda like the gulag.....
