Not that it seems anyone cares but tomorrow is medal day.

Canada vs Czech for gold/silver
USA vs Sweden for Bronze

It's actually been quite an exciting tournament to watch this year and I like that many participating countries have been very competitive and eager to win.

I watched them beat the USA earlier. I wonder how much the USA is complaining about the 2 goals that were refused for goalie interference?

Given the scandal that erupted at Hockey Canada this past year they should be hoping as much more that none of the players end up perpetrating some sort of gang rape during or after the tourney than they hope for another gold medal win. Finding out that the organizers & authorities have been brushing off that kind of behaviour by some of the players, going back as far as the late 80's/early 90's, as merely some sort of "the boys will be boys" shenanigans is pretty disgusting.

Quite exciting games today with both games needing OT to determine the outcomes!

The US beat Sweden 8-7 for bronze.

Canada won a nail-biter 3-2 over Czechia to win gold.

IMO it was overall a great tournament played by all teams and the folks in Halifax and Moncton looked like they were having a blast!
