Why does it take 2 seasons to celebrate 100 years? Did they not start this in the 08/09 season?

Because, unlike some other teams, Montreal has some serious history to it,
not some flash in the pan last minute expansion team.

Man, watching the ''show'' on RDS.
Sure, the Montreal Canadiens have a great history.
This is one of the most storied franchises of all sports.
They sure have had some greats to play for the team, but seems like the current roster, oh ! better not say anything at all.

The Canadiens vs Nordiques were a great rivalry, actually the amongst the best in all of hockey.

Yo. The Habs set a new record, against the Flyers:
They won 3-1 with shooting only 13 times.
They shot 13 times.
13 times. In a 60 minutes game.
And they still won.
WTF.
On the plus side, Flyers managed only 15 shots.
What a boring night

The Habs and Flyers playing tonight. Sure would like to know if Newfette is watching this game. 
Prior to the game, both teams are tied in the standings at 82. This game is important to each. In fact, every games matter this close to the series.
