Best quote today: "You can do anything you set your mind to, unless Conner McDavid also wants that thing."

Lol

That was a hell of series. It’s shame it wasn’t the cup final and also, that it didn’t last longer. It was damned thrilling hockey.
Last night especially. Four goals in 70 seconds was mental. I pity the people who had to answer the call of nature and missed that spectacle.

I worked until 8 last night, got a cab rather quickly and got home when it was 2-2. Edmonton scored their 3rd goal as was taking off my shoes. Then another, another, another and I was like hey! Hold on! I don't even have my beer poured yet!

Fantastic game and I agree xerxes, it was a hell of a series. I'm happy that Edmonton won as I was leaning in their direction support-wise.

I'm hoping St. Louis wins tonight to push for a game 7 against Colorado... just because.

Edmonton and Colorado starting off the series where the Battle of Alberta left off: high scoring and action packed.

Too bad it ended so soon and so badly...

Sucks.

At least the Tampa/NY series is tied up at 2 games each. Best of 3 now and I won't be surprised to see it go 7 games.

and then there were 2...

Tampa Bay vs Colorado for The Cup.

Colorado Avalanche win the Stanley Cup!

That was a pretty intense series, especially tonight's game. [hockey]

With the season finishing so late due to all the interruptions earlier in the season it's only 3 months to go before the start of 22/23.
