It is that time again. The last of the preseason games will be done tomorrow and the regular season starts up on Tuesday October 10th.
Anything NHL can be bantered about here.

I'm enjoying the strong start by the Canucks of course, but am not getting over excited by it as we've seen this before. Taking it game by game...

Oh so true and so many months ahead to battle through. However, today the Canucks are in 1st place in the Western Conference and the top 3 players in the league are here...
This is just weird. It was rather touching that when the NY Islanders were here last night the fans gave Bo Horvat a cheer. It's too bad that he left at all but that's hockey.

Well, we are just past the halfway point of the season and obviously, being a Canucks fan, I'm quite enjoying the season so far. There are still a few months to go and anything can happen but the entertainment here is great!
Officiating is as inconsistent as ever and we notice it not just in games the Canucks are in, but in other games we watch as well. They always go on about cracking down on checking from behind into the boards yet it still happens, rather dangerously at times.
