So.. there is no fantasy pool as of yet but I'd be willing to put one together for #cka folks only if we have enough interest.. let me know!

i was just thinking off the top of my head.. if you guys are more familiar with structuring one then i'd be willing to let one of you guys run it or share the responsiblity.. the only thing important to me is that we have a committed group of people in excess of 15.. sounds reasonable no?

Just to be sure, are we talking about fantasy hockey (Where games are simulated and where you take the position of a GM) or a real nhl hockey pool where you just have to hope your drafted players perform well on real nhl games?

If it's the latter I'm in!

   

I think he means the latter, I hope so, cuz then I'm in as well. I did a couple yahoo ones last season and won one, and came in second in the other. It was tons of fun!!

no sim game we need a hockey pool.. real stats real numbers over the whole season....

   

   

PoolExpert.com is a great website that compile stats and would do all the work for us. I tried it 2 years ago with 15 other poolers and we all had a blast. You have access to a lot of statistics like "Best week, best month, best day" and so on. If you want to see an overview, you can click here

The thing is, it would cost 2$ per person (to a maximum of $30).

If everyone absolutely want something free, I think onlinepools.com doesn't cost anything... But I didn't try it so i don't know if it's good.

With recent announcement of a new labor agreement, we eagerly anticipate getting the 2005-06 season underway. We will begin accepting sign-ups in August. So when stuff becomes Available.. I will sign it up as the CKAHL give everyone draft day times etc( the have automatic too.. so don't worry.. done this for years.. great pool... You select players there are trades that can happen... no 2 players can be on the same teams ( no duplicates) If you have crosby or Jagr they are yours until you trade them...or waive them....

   

That's cool Twist.. good call. Let me know when you've got it together and we can take a look at it and make any necessary adjustments, etc.
