Sheesh....

Only in Canada, you say?

$1:
Yes, only in Canada could the announcement of an 81-player long list of potential Olympians be met with as much excitement and fanfare as there was when Hockey Canada posted it on their website Wednesday.

I guess that's everywhere in Canada except on CKA..... :P

I guess Canada is really trying to cover ALL their bases here. I'd be scared to see Cloutier in the net at the Olympics. 8)

As long as Cloutier gets little to no time in the net, I'll be happy.

Yeah actually I believe we've won the gold medals in both mens & women's olympics the last couple times...? Or maybe that was just world championships, who knows.

Streaker @ Sun Oct 23, 2005 12:10 am

Yeah, in 2002 both men's and women's hockey teams won the gold. Before that it had been a loooong time since Canada had won an Olympic hockey gold medal...

any ideas on no. 1 goalie for olympics? I'm thinking it'll be Luongo this year. With this much talent in a hockey camp, it should be Canada vs. the World. GO CANADA GO!!!
