We had friends over for BBQ and our big screen.
None of the women cared Vancouver lost. They were happy hockey is OVER and us guys can't beg off the honeydew list every other night anymore....

Tell him I was crying from the first goal....I was with a wee one myself and he broke into tears and then I broke into tears....it was bad....but tell him next year!!! and GO CANUCKS GO!!!!

The Bruins earned the cup and Thomas more than earned the Conn Smythe Trophy...he was amazing. ................... Bettman also deserved the boos.

Agreed. Boston played like they wanted it more.

Major kudos to Alain Vigneault. That interview he did a minute ago on CBC was class all the way.
Yes, his inability to make the changes needed to get his team going and get out-coached. Kudos to him.
Was I talking about his coaching or his interview?

Well... I just can't believe it

I was SO confident that this was our year. What a season! Finishing first overall, an amazing first round win against Chicago, great series against Nashville and San Jose... then we ran into the best goaltender in the league... and came up short.
Congrats to the Bruins as they earned it.
Just think... middle of June and now our season is done. Only 3 months or so before it all starts again...

Isn't there a Leafs season ticket holder who shows up to the inaugural home game every year with a sign that says "MAYBE NEXT YEAR"?
