Those three are all out of my price range now. Most of the top ten places are out of the question for me for financial or linguistic reasons. Why is Ottawa still so reasonably priced by comparison?

Ottawa is a great, little city, btw. If you need a bigger one to stimulste the grey matter now and then, Montreal is just an hour and a half down the road.
