Caution.

Do not try to operate one of these contraptions when under the influence of alcohol!!! :lol:

Okay, nomenclature here, but why the hell is it "Bikeaholic" or "Chocoholic"? There's no "hol" in "bike" or "chocolate". If someone addicted to alcohol is an alcoholic, shouldn't someone addicted to bicyles be a "bicycleic" and someone addicted to chocolate a "chocolateic"? Popular lexicon can sure be dumbasstic at times. :D

-holic

1. Denotes addiction to the substance or activity of the stem word.

* The form -holic is used with words already ending with vowels. For stems ending with consonants, the phonetically pleasant forms -aholic or -oholic may be more common.

* blogaholic
* chocoholic
* cleanaholic
* sexaholic
* shopaholic
* spendaholic
* wikiholic
* workaholic

***** I've met all of the above except for the sexaholic.
WHY, WHY, WHY!!! :cry:

You're just jealous cause you've never tried any bikeahol or chocohol. Don't try the workohol, though, I hear that's the worst.

A tandem bike??? Me and BiL were trying to ride one down Franklin Ave in Ft. Mac several years ago. Tried to turn a corner at a good clip, hit some sand and wiped out right in front of a Cop car. When the Mountie regained his composure,( ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL ) he helped us up, tended to our 'wounds' and sent us on our way! :lol:

No, she hates hard bicycle seats. I've looked for a banana seat or something, but we haven't found one she likes. Hopefully, we'll find something this year...

They sell all kinds of nice big plush seats these days,some with shock absorbers.

I hear in Vancouver when someone goes in for a latte they take the seat with them,theres quite a bicycle seat theft thing going on there and i'm not joking. :lol:

Yeah, my brother and sister-in-law said several bike shops here in Edmonton sell them, but the selection over the fall and winter was rather poor (understandably). We're going to look in a couple of weeks for one for her.

It seems like people steal bike seats pretty much everywhere these days. Some of the nicer bikes actually have locking mechanisms on them to try to prevent theft.

I didnt beleive it when I first heard it but I heard it from someone who bikes all over vancouver.

Second thing I did when I got a mountain bike was buy a nice saddle for it,first thing I did was peddle 40 miles with the original.
I did the last ten miles standing up.
That was painfull and it was hard walking for about a week. :oops:

forget the soft or plush gimmicky seats they don't help.

wear properly fitting cycling shorts and ride often, muscles need to be used.
