Wait till some clown forgets to top up the glycol and it pops every pipe in the neighborhood on a -40C day.
I guess it can be the biggest rink in Canada.

solar for heat and hot water, but not electricity.

hey, its a good thing, i hope they got a big fat subsidy from the
gov't to do it..

now when they add electricity to the mix, then it will be impressive.

Refilling the glycol (non-toxic antifreeze) will fast become a self-reinforcing habit.

Nifty! "Completely Solar" seems to be a bit of a misnomer though.

Also, the Drake Landing Solar Community is the first community to be solar powered in all of North America. Europe has a longer experience.

I hope this works out, and more of these neighborhoods are built

Lold

I agree, it sounded like it had something to do with space.

But, this is pretty cool nonetheless. Hopefully alot fo countries will follow suit.

For now it seems to be a three-street new integrated residential development, it will become a community if the residents can share something without market-style distribution rules.

glycol is a hazard substance. These people are a bunch of polluters.
