$1:
What should be the finality of an energy policy?

It seems for the lefties, the solution is an invasion of Alberta like the 1950 Chinese invasion of Tibet.

Invading Alberta would be like raping the Queen. Either the one who will do it will have a good army to back him or good arguments.

...........I'm really getting too old for this crap but I would back Alberta all the way....and may the Lord look sideways on mine enemies.

Get serious......Alberta VS the GTA would be a six day war.........

That is why you should listen to my moral arguments.

You have the spelling wrong----it's IMMORAL.

Stick to blowing up mailboxes!

The goal of an energy policy is allowing individuals to pursue their own conceptions of the good life.

I can just picture it now, all the left leaning intellectuals in Toronto being clubbed to death by a bunch of pipe wrench wielding oilmen. PDT_Armataz_01_08

I think you mean "material means VS material values" as in the East wants Alberta's material means so they can quench their material values.

The East wants Alberta's material means so they can quench their Christian values of taking side with the victims, the have-not.

Candu Reactors are in their 3rd generation and are cutting edge technology.
Nuclear is the only REAL solution to energy shortage and Canada is the Saudi Arabia of u238.

The Tar sands need a reactor so that operation can produce "clean oil" and stop wasting our natural gas.

Canada could become a world leader and our economy could be driven by cheap energy for manufacturing. This would bring good jobs and money for R&D for future clean energy.

A real solution is a permanent (sustainable) one.
