Looks like highly qualified, university educated immigrants are having a tough time getting jobs in Canada:

http://www.iht.com/articles/2005/06/05/news/canada.php

What I don't like about this article, is that it starts out by making it sound like the problem is mostly due to racism, but if you read through to the end, it looks more like it's an administrative problem related to inadequate resources being put into evaluation of foreign qualifications.

But I guess that's journalism. Racism is a sexy topic so they open with that, regardless of the influence that it will have on those people who skim the first few paragraphs of the article before moving on.

I don't know about other fields but my field has tons of immigrants (medical technology), mostly from the philipines. The main reason being that canada has been short for many rears know as they haven't graduated enough to fill all vacancies for years now. If there is alot of competition in their field it will make things more difficult. I know that foriegn docotors often have a hard time but that is because of all the current docotrs wanting to limit the number of doctors in ON because of how OHIP billing works. Less docotrs = more money spread around to the other doctors.

All I know is that I cannot through a small brick without hitting at least 3 dozen immigrant students. Odds are they'll find jobs just as easily as I would. Just wish they'd learn some bloody English (or French) before that.

Either they learn to speak english/french well, or they WON'T find jobs as easily as you.

Imagine going into an interveiw process and knowing you don't speakt he language very well...

Hey usababe, as a tourist you don't need a visa, all us citizen are free to come to Germany, but we have to get one if we want to on holidays there...

I think you will need to get a greencard to get a job here, and you should have some skills in speaking german...

Why you want to come to Germany?
