Thought I'd bring this thread back in response to the Quebec is a nation thread

Pleeeeease can we have a civil war

   

I expected to see more no's. Considering the amount of people who think we shouldn't be fighting a war in Afghanistan. There's not even that many WTF's.

   

I think they'd both lose.

They suck.

How about a civil war against the separatist scum of our fine nation?

I doubt much of Canada would oppose this...

   

i'm for it. just let the francophone nationalists and francophone federalists duke it out, then we can clean up the mess and make quebec an english province

That would make an interesting poll question - Civil War or ....
but on the other hand it would probably cause a big enough flame war to start a civil war .

   

Yes. 'Other.' All of the provinces should round up their leftists and ship them off to Quebec, a major infestation of french "culture" in North America. Then, Quebec should be annihilated.

as reasons for civil war , anyway 30% sounds promising :lol

so I guess the weapons of choice so far are sticks , pucks , skate blades , and hand to hand defencemen combat , some attacks on french product labeling plants and body checks against the old weakening walls of the parliament building .

   

I look at this way, since the principle harbinger of the Apocalypse would be Vancouver winning a Stanley Cup...




And that makes about as much sense as this thread does.

I will say one thing on the subject, were Canada to ever have a civil war then I'm sure that, Canadians being Canadians, it would be the very epitome of a civil war.

Other than the Quebecers being predictably rude I doubt nothing more potent than an insult would be used by any side.

I am against a civil war because live in Ontario, everyone hates Ontario.

   

Nah , I'm a born and bred true Albertan and I like Ontario . I just don't like hanging out with more than 6 million people , Ottawa , and occasionally the humidity is annoying .

To be honest I can't stand the United State of Alberta or Ralph (good riddance). Alberta no longer exists there is a difference between Alberta and what it is today because where I am you won't find an American flag anywhere .In Alberta you won't find a Canadian flag unless they are either side by side or an albertan will challenge the size of their neighbours american flag just for spite . There is something good and bad about every one of the 9 provinces .
