Montreal woman refused service at gay bar says rights violated

This has probably run through the system but I missed it. For those of you who haven't heard: A woman was denied entry into a Montreal gay bar (aren't they all in that city?) for not being a gay male and has challenged the usual indignation with a good old fashioned illegitimate kanageroo type human rights tribunal that has never seen the likes of such a paradoxical twist since they were set up to strictly prosecute white men in areas where even liberal courts couldn't shamefully bend the law to the degree required.

The amazing thing about all the so called oppressed minorities is that as they grow in power and are emboldened by victory after victory in any and every challenge, they are running out of old white guy type establishment things to attack and now must feed upon each others territorial gains as they elbow their way to the dinner table of entitlement.

Lets look at this for a moment and see how they stack up.

Gays have succeeded in making a paraphilliac lifestyle socially acceptable, they have been given the power to adopt children, they have whitewashed the health dangers of their lifestyle, they have redesigned the social concept of marriage, they have managed to have criminal laws rewritten designed to increase punishment on a perpetrator if the victim happens to be gay and they have even managed to force schools to recruit or introduce young folk to their lifestyle and employers in government and some industries must hire them strictly based on who they enjoy having sex with.

Women have managed to have the laws changed whereby their reporters can go into male locker rooms but the other way around is forbidden, their daughters can join Boy Scouts or male sports leagues but the reverse is verbotten, male only social or health clubs are forbidden while female only clubs thrive and governments and many private industries must higher not on merit but by gender.

OK, so this may not be as interesting as Native Healing Circles taking on Sharia Law but it's a damn sight more entertaining then the tax consuming medical profession trying to elbow out of the trough the tax consuming teaching profession.

In this particular case I reckon the women have bit off far more then they can chew. The gays may be smaller in number but they control the courts, rights tribunals and the media and I think they are going to kick female butt on this one. Further, in a similar case in Australia the courts went gay.

Go fags! [cheer]

* noticed I 'spelt' hire as "higher". @#^&$ whiskey.

$1:
Thirty-six women from the Marine Drive Golf Club have lost the final battle in their ongoing war to allow both genders into the club's exclusive lounge for men.

Today, the Supreme Court said it would not hear the women's case, essentially upholding a B.C. Court of Appeal ruling allowing the private club's Bullpen lounge to be open only to men.

And this has nothing to do with gays!

BS. Here's the part you neglected to post:

"The tribunal upheld the complaint, but a judge overturned the decision on the grounds that the accommodation in question was not customarily open to the public and thus the tribunal had no jurisdiction."

Sorry sweetie. A public gay bar is not a private members club with fees etc. The woman in question was even with her father and they said he could come in.

womyn is a stupid term dreamed up by feminazis. man comes from the sanskrit term mannas, which merely means human being and is therefore gender neutral.

When I was going to the U of M we had some feminazi dykes try and have the student handbook changed, and replace the spelling of woman with womyn. Didn't happen. The head of this group was a three fingered, hairy faced, little mysandrist, that not even a testosterone charged, sight impaired male baboon could find attractive. Yet she went on and on about how she saw lived in fear of being the target of every man's uncontrolled lust and violence.

Why do homosexuals always have to make a point? Gay Pride Parades, Canal Pride Parades, Gay-lympics... I thought they wanted to be treated "normal"?

For that lady? She had every right to be there and be served, who knows she was gay herself? Her dad on the other hand...

It's a public bar right? So she should of been allowed in. I've been to a gay bar or two in my time (not for myself of course). It's kinda weird being looked at by other females instead of males like I'm more used to. Very strange... but it was fun.

Buisness owners should be allowed to control what goes on in their respective business. It is I feel their right as the owner.

Well, it is discrimination if you refuse to serve someone because of their sexual preference, skin colour, sex etc... In a gay bar too...

In Canada women are permitted to frequent public services such as health clubs that cater to women only. There are also educational programs offered in schools, by government and even private companies such as Home Depot that are exclusively offered only to women. Girl Guides in Canada refuses to allow boys but Boy Scouts was ordered by the courts to permit girls. In Canada girls are allowed to play on the boys sports teams yet boys are barred completely from participating on any girls sports team. In Canada women may serve in any combat role voluntarily but may not be conscripted into service.

I could go on and on but the only gender discrimination that occurs in Canada is targeted against males. I think if you truly oppose gender discrimination you should start with the vast inequities directed towards men.

I do oppose to gender discrimination, in any way.

Maybe she just dressed way better then the guys in the bar and they were jealus. To me its rediculas to bar her. Idiots abound in all walks of society no matter what their sexual leaning is.
