So BC is worried about the cleanliness of its coasts and waterways, while vilifying Alberta? Think again. Maybe BC should stand for bring chlorine....or beach clean? Hahahaha.

Looks like most of Canada needs to be emulating Saskatchewan...things you thought you would never say out loud....just kidding.

Ontario is doing pretty good.....well for treating waste water.

A lot of this will be the coastal cities, Victoria, Halifax, St. John's,

dumping their sewage directly into the sea.

Well in Victoria's defense, Bellingham has shit beaches anyways.

Exactly. The capacity of the ocean to dilute sewage is much greater than that of freshwater.

If I'm not mistaken, Vancouver releases more untreated effluent than Victoria--at least they used to. A much smaller percentage of total effluent is not treated, but it still ended up being volumetrically greater than that released by Victoria.

That's because Vancouver's shit don't stink.

To feed the dungeness ....
I'm not shitting you once we were joking around about crab bait while fishing at Grey's harbour and one of a group stuck a loaded diaper in the crab trap. If it didn't come up with the biggest catch of the day!
Funny how the 49c supermarket crab bait we used to buy is now $5.49 lb in these parts. "Soup stock"

Too bad McLean & McLean are no longer with us. We could really use them to write a song about this and call it The Shitwater Blues.

Brad should have brought that chart to this carbon tax meeting.

We'll talk carbon tax after the rest of you clean up your shit

Yup gotta tax the shit out of Canadians for their birthday candle whilst China and India are allowed to toss even more tires onto their burning pile of toxic waste.

My brother goes crabbing on the California coast and he uses Velveeta cheese because it's far cheaper than the 'bait'. It also works remarkably well!
