Rev,

Wrong again. Good try though.

"fraid I'm right again Yank. Care to explain why Bush and Cheney were lying about when the explosives disappeared?

RDX is the actual boom part of C1,C2,C3, C4 and other explosives its a white powder, not plyable as above indicated in one reference, can be used for detonating a implosion or gun style nuke, but iraq had it secures and sealed, until the usa showed up and let it into the hand of the wrong people.
also they don't have the skill, or the fisable material to do that
http://www.ordnance.org/rdx.htm

as for the oil thing, don't buy it, it would have been cheaper to buy it from them, not that they wont take it while they are there. i think its all about phalus flapping, with the economic uprising/developing of other countries like china, the states needs to re-assert it position on the top, but this is only a stop gap measure to delay the enevitable

look at USA debt, they are at their limit, have already extended the limit, collapse is not far off at this pace

It is closer than you think

$1:
Many currency traders were taken aback on Friday when the greenback fell in spite of bullish data showing the US economy created 337,000 jobs in October.

"If this can't cause the dollar to strengthen you have to tell me what will. This is a big green light to sell the dollar," said David Bloom, currency analyst at HSBC, as the greenback fell to a nine-year low in trade-weighted terms.

Although you could use RDX for the detonation of fissionable material like Uranium 235 that you can get from Iran, Russia or the USA, the compound is not as concentrated and would probably fall short of the critical mass required for detonation. FAQ

rdx was used for years as the lenses in pit style bombs, hmx is a high density rdx, by product of rdx, is just more dense, rdx is actually more powerfull(barely), at least to the info i know.

Someone mentioned to me a idea, that maybe the usa is devaluing their doller to lessen the effect of their current debt

HMX also called octogen or cyclotetramethylene-tetranitramine, is a powerful, but shock sensitive, nitroamine high explosive, chemically related to RDX. That is why it is not as plyable as RDX.

RDX At room temperatures, it is a very stable product. It burns rather than explodes, and only detonates with a detonator, being unaffected even by small arms fire. It is less sensitive than pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN). However, it is very sensitive when crystalized, below −4°C.

PETN is more commonly used as detonation cord so it would not be as useful for the detonation of fissionable materials. If you want to know more on things that go boom check out Rouge Science.org

As for devaluation I can not see you logic here, they still have 7.4 trillion in debt and the debt ceiling is to be raised to $8.074 trillion. They still have to pay that in US dollars so having the dollar worth less just compounds the problem.

everything about hmx/ rdx is right, not arguing here, rdx is a white powder, if you look at the chemical make up it is very, very similar to rdx, both are high explosives and by definition must be touched off by a detonator, otherwise it would be a conflagorent(sp) or low order explosive

rdx was used in fissable material bombs until hmx came along, besides any of those will work, getting the explosives lenses and timing done right is more the issue, PETN cords of equall length can be used from a common ignitor to each lens portion(maybe i we should not be discussing this big brother may be watching, probally not)

they do not need to pay the debt in us dollers, they could use gold reserves(they only have64 billion us dollers worth though, wont help much), that are now worth more us dollers, and other comodoties that are also worth more us dollers, they can increase their income from trade export by devaluing the doller, but since they have a trade deficit traded itiems dont really help
