Let's call it The Maple Curtain.

George Bush's visit to Europe has been a success.

Is it really such a success? It seems to me that the only substantive changes was that Bush didn't piss everyone off this time.

You're right about the Europeans though Godz (I can't believe I just wrote that), they also want Iran nuclear free. But I'm pretty sure that Bush would have known that before he left. That being said, the US still isn't joining the European negotions with Iran

Though, Bush is still up to his freedom loving ways: clearing the streets of whatever city he's in so he doesn't have to see protestors, cancelling a town hall meeting that might have included non-scripted answers.

I was watching BBC World the other day and they gave Bush's visit pretty mixed reviews. I don't see the European countries lining up to send troops to Iraq either.

It sounds like more radical-right fear-mongering coming from you Godz.

:D

American media is painting it as a success anyway mainly because Putin reinforced his committment to democracy. This may show my ignorance a little on the subject, but my understanding is that Iran is not necessarily going to be completely free of a nuclear program.

Iran has no nuclear bomb: Putin

Russia backs Iran in nuclear row

Putin: Iran not developing nukes

The success on the nuclear issue apparently is that Russia agreed to secure their nuclear materials so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands and they will require Iran to return the fuel spent on the Bushehr nuclear reactor to Russia, but Iran will still have nuclear reactor built and Russia is still supplying the fuel for that to happen...

Do you even have a TV Godz? If you do, you should tune into something other than Three's Company re-runs once in a while. Better yet, and I realize this is a stretch, but you could actually take a reading comprehension class.

Godz, you watch Fox news, that explains a lot.....Funny thing is, polls all across Europe don't think too highly of Heir Georgies visit.

Sorry old-timer. But I havn't watched a single episode of "Three's company" ever. I watch Fox News, the Speed Channel, some NCAA baskateball and some of the local news but that's about it.

That explains a lot.

And you could actually go back to the fine SK tradition of banging your sister/mother.

Sorry, but by the time I'm done with yours I'm too tired. Oh yeah...your wife...she's got a tongue like a cow. She was likely worth more than ten bucks, but I needed a pack of smokes.

Wow you've actually sunk to the level of a ten year old. Congratulations [BB]

Well, this sort of crap won't be tolerated. Rev, you shouldn't have responded to this junk, you know better.

Hey if Canada turns into France I'll be happy. 35 hour work weeks, nude beaches, wine as far as the eye can see.

Hey Godz, the way you speak of aniamls and the various practice one can engage with them, it sounds as though it's coming from personal experience. You are living in Florida after all.
