The only reason you posted this information was to do what you previously condemned. You've chosen the route of intimidation rather than the courtesy and respect you once called for.

Being hyper-partisan as you are, I have no doubt that if Thanos or anyone else not on the right posted some information as you have about someone on the right, your tune would change again and you'd be preaching the courtesy and respect mantra.

   

No judge would ever write such a thing. If so the judge would need to be removed from the bench.

I went looking for the judge and instead found only Sue Belanger who claimed that this letter was published by the Globe and Mail.

It does not exist on the Globe and Mail, does it? DOES IT????

That's because she likely authored this story.

Hard to respect someone who'd damage a man's career so blithely.

   

There lies the problem... you take any attack (or perceived attack) on your guys as a personal attack. You do the same thing if anything bad is said about Palin. I just went looking and found it posted on Facebook by an American on June 7th; four days before this woman posted it on Facebook. It took me less than ten minutes to find this out, as this post has over 10k comments and 71k shares (as opposed to the person you blame, whose post among thousands on the CNN - Don Lemon Facebook page has 3 comments and 5 shares, another clear clue she is not the author). I didn't have to share her information and discover her home address or send it to third party strangers or post it on the internet and claim she was the author to mention that.

There is no clear evidence that the Judge in question wrote this piece. Nor is there any evidence that this has damaged his career as a result, either because not many people have seen it, not many people care, or like bootlegga most have figured it wasn't authentic anyway but that the message was worth hearing. Most politicians, judges, and public figures do not respond to posts on forums or Facebook for a reason. In any case, it is the Judge's choice to follow up on this, not yours.

If you are so worried about the damage this sort of thing can do to someone's career or reputation, then again it is your own words I would encourage you to follow. I discovered that she was not the original poster with incredibly little effort. To so quickly condemn her as the person who wrote it, and to so quickly share her personal details online and with other third parties when you could have confirmed this yourself within five minutes is the definition of blithe.

I find it downright embarrassing that you’d go through all these steps and start calling people yet can’t spend 5 minutes online as Khar did.

Regardless of your intentions, I've emailed Trevor about this breach of privacy and I hope he'll take some sort of action, as it is apparent that you will not censor or punish yourself given the tone of your denials here.

   

There's a lot of truth to what you're saying.

However, we've yet to see someone as bold and as frequent as Trump has been with his lies. For him, it's a daily occurrence. I believe he tells about 2-3 lies per day since he's started in office. A record likely not to be beaten for a very long time.

   

The "he did it first" or "he did it too" argument NEVER worked when I tried it with my parents.

   

If you don't want your information made public then don't make it public, duh!
