Why should Israel be destroyed? I think they should be allowed to exist and I don't think we should have to tell the Jews again you have to leave once more. They have moved around enough and they have a homeland now and should live there.

   

this is really not that simple of a qestion.

I do feel that the creation of Israel was kinda a mistake and that the surrounding countires do have a right to be angry. But I don't think Isreal should be "desroyed". Even to relocate Israel is impossible.

Really the only solution is for coexistense, but I dunno if thats possible.. I dont think anyone has the answer.

It is stupid Israel is a very tiny country then you have this whole region dominated by Muslims who just can't have Israel next to them. It would be like Canada trying to destroy Newfoundland and wipe them off the map. Those evil Newfoundlanders with their boats and "what you at b'y?" They must be stopped we have to destroy the infidels and their jigs and reels!

   

Like in most things, moderation is key. If society's problems could be summed up in one word it would be extremism, it would seem moderates are often too busy to be bothered with all the 'outrages' the world has to offer. In my opinion, which you should take with as much value as you feel should be placed upon such an occurance.

Israel should be allowed to exist. but it shouldn't be doing stupid things to make people question that.

I agree with Trev, I think it was a mistake, but it's too late now.

If they restored the occupied territories to the countries which they were taken from, it would probably go a huge way towards fixing things -- not that I'm holding my breath after 39 years.

I'm not in favor of destroying Israel. I may accept a withdrawel of support. I'm not an anti-semite by any stretch of the imagination, I'm just not a zionist. My position is not solid but I'm concerned on the developments over the last five years. The middle east is getting worse and the West is running out of money and patience. I don't believe it had to be this way, but here we are.

I may not be ready quite yet to sign on the bottom line, but I could see a day soon where I would trade support for Israel for a unified decree that all devout Muslims must live within current Muslim countries and dissavow incursion into the West. Build a wall and play containment for the next few hundred years and see if Islam develops beyond the seventh century.

   

I think that the middle east needs to be controled by one government which is secular and international with a police force simular to the NWMP. Sort of like the US in Iraq except without any talk of a path to withdrawl

If you mean firing up Auschwitz again, I don't think anyone's going to be onboard with that.

But. If you're talking about replacing a single nation state with a two nation system of some kind, (which would mean a destruction of Israel), then maybe there's something to talk about.

Some people think giving up the Golan is the destruction of Israel.

I say destroy the whole place and imprison or execute the population. I mean seriously, they have been forcing their will on the people over the entire region who by and large do not agree with them, outnumber them and for the most part, hate them. They are arrogant and use the rest of the region as colonial fodder for their sick and twisted politics. The politicians that originate from there are corrupt and self serving and quick to demand the military cater to their every domestic whim!

Additionally:

The legality of their State is questionable as they were created by the stroke of a pen from the British. What kind of origin is that?

If it was not for the generosity of the USA they wouldn’t even exist and would be as poor as all the others in the region.

Its population is approximately 20% Arab but they refuse to allow Sharia law for these people.

I say turn the whole place into a sheet of glass.
