North Korea Repatriates Remains of Missing US Service Members
$1:
A U.S. Air Force C-17 aircraft containing remains of fallen service members has departed Wonsan, North Korea. It is accompanied by service members from United Nations Command Korea and technical experts from the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. The C-17 is transferring the remains to Osan Air Base, where a formal repatriation ceremony will be held on August 1.

Yes God rest their souls. I'm glad their remains are back in friendly territory. I'm not wild about the meeting turned out, but to the families of the fallen can have a little bit more peace.
Thanks, Trump.

Its been 65 years and 12 different American Presidents to get this accomplished and yet all we get is the sound of crickets chirping. Its like someone said the other day that President Trump could walk across the Potomac river and all we would hear from the left is: "See he can't swim!".
21 Canadian soldiers are still missing in action in Korea. Is our government doing anything to locate them?

Doing good things here and there doesn't excuse all the other bad things. This is a very good thing, but on scale it's not enough.
PBS "American Experience" did a show on these war dead called "The Battle of Chosin". Look it up, and it's on Netflix.
RIP

As best I can tell your government is not making any attempts to bring home missing troops or war dead from North Korea.

Also, maybe don't count your chickens before they hatch? IIRC, the last time NK returned some remains, it took years to verify that they were actual human remains of fallen soldiers. Which they weren't. Most were random human remains and in a few cases, animal bones.

Doesn't matter. The whole thing is just another stunt anyway to make sure only Donnie gets the glory. I'd love it if it were legit but with him involved in any way odds are it's merely another attention-grab for his own benefit.

Well, I heard there was a motion put forward to maybe possibly talk about the possibility of maybe talking about possibly doing something.

The problem is that when the leader of your country loves communist dictators more than his own military chances of that ever happening are extremely slim to say the least.

I'm actually wondering if this isn't the case most of time and if "returning the remains" isn't just one big photo op.
