June 6th, 59 years ago D-Day took place in and around Normandy. Over 2000 Canadians lay buried there................Thats was the beginning of the end for the 2nd World War........Time for a few moments to reflect on what we enjoy today because of those there, Canadian, British, American and other allies who went when called.

A salute to the men (and the women who helped) who fought there. I don't think most people would have the balls to do that today. We are too self-centred of a society.
