The title is pritty straight forward, who will it be. And who do you think it should be.
Canada's next PM will undoubtedly be Paul Martin. He has the power to take the Liberals forward.
While I am a Liberal member, I am hoping for the resurgence of the PCs under Peter McKay, to provide some more viable, reasoned opposition than the hapless Republican Party North (The Alliance). I hope that Mr. Harper and his cronies continue to be shut out of Ontario (as they will be) and that the urban West goes Liberal.
A rejeuvenated political climate, with the Liberals and the PCs making a strong showing, will serve us all well. That's what I'd like to see.
Hopefully anyone other then the Liberals.
I dont know, I really like Paul Martin
Besides, I love his initials, PM!
The ghost of PET
As much as i think the conservative party deserves a resurgence i didn't know who peter mcKay was until very recently and well he's not very outstanding. I think its paul martin and the liberals this time round, hopefully he'll do a better job. Mulroney deserves to be burned alive with his son and wife then hung in edmonton a la mussolini.
Heh, I went to PET highschool.
woah wait a second Brian mulroney and Benito mussolini? BM, BM, mu mu? this is creepy. They both instigated constitutional reforms that shifted the power in their respective countries. And eliminated their party from later elections. hmmm
But we didnt have to worry about Mulroney for the past 10 years!
First of all, PET was the most over-rated PM this country has ever had. Second, Joe Clark has led his party down the road of insignifigance, not 'lyin Brian. And calling the Alliance party "Republicans North", is the most cynical comment I've heard this week (next to Bookies posts). Remember the raises last year? Probably not. There is an Renfrew area alliance m.p. who has never taken a dime of it. He gives his pay-raise to a different charity every two weeks. A liberal takes his, and yours too. Then taxes you an extra 2% for being stupid enough to vote for them. Anybody who would admit to being a liberal after ten years of this slapstick, gets a worried smile & my sympathies!
Remember decency?
