Our wonderful Ontario Goverment, LCBO and Beer Store has brought up the prices of higher alcohol content beers by up to 60%.

I'm not sure of beer prices in other provinces. I do know it is much cheaper in Hull Quebec then it is here in Ottawa.

I would like to here from members from other provinces to read there views on this. I think the beer prices in Ontario are high enough as it is.

   

I don't know what the other provinces are like price wise anymore, but, I can pick up a 28 of Canadian for $16 in Seattle. ( I know its a very odd size) A 24 of Blue is running $15. Big Rock runs $18 a 24. Kokanee runs $15 a 24. That's US bucks. Its always good to know American prices when trying to apply leverage to politicians.

i think the only people they are gonna hurt are the drunks that drink that "Big bear" and "o'keefe extra old stock" with the green label..They's the ones that cash in the empties to buy that stuff..

here in alberta, i can pick up a 6 of big rock for $10 and 12 for $20 canadian...

of course you can always pick up lucky's fore real cheap...and it's strong(er)...6% (lol) 6 cans for 6 bucks and change.

woah...6%, 6 cans, $6....must be of the devil...

but meh, beer is beer i guess
