I mentioned this in another thread, but it was summarily disregarded.
The possibility is at least intriguing, and plausible.
Think I'll summarily disregard that.

Alert the whitehouse!
(apperantly they don't know yet)
So is The Holy Grail, Atlantis, Noah's Ark, and The Tooth Fairy's stash. Jimmy Hoffa is there also. They still have dinasaurs in Syria.
Oh the buzzin' of the bees in the cigarette trees
And the soda water fountains
The lemonaide springs where the bluebird sings
In them old Syrian mountains.
Can we quit talking about things that don't exist now?

But I can't show you my horn. This is a G rated site.

Give up this desperate attempt to justify your support of this war that has killed over a thousand U.S. troops (and counting) and who knows how many Iraqis(and counting) while at the same time making the line ups longer at terrorist recruitment camps. In the meantime Bin Laden is still at large because this adminstration has lost its focus on the
REAL dangers. The possibilities of this war being about oil are far greater than this hyped bullshit about WMD's and links to AL Quaida, but I suppose you think that is to outlandish right? No way could this have anything to with oil.

I am not desperately trying to justify anything. Whoever said that I support the war anyways? If I post links and articles that are contrary to your pre-determined beliefs, I do it because I thought people were interested in hearing all sides. I guess not.
If you feel that you can discount the possibility of what the links above present, then more power to you. I will of course assume that you, and all the others here, didn't even bother to read them. I wish I could so easily rule "case closed" on so many issues, when there is the possibility of facts to support an alternate side of the story. I'd hate to be on trial in a court where you were on the jury.
Of course the war could be about oil - I never said it couldn't be. It could have been about a number of things - maybe even a bunch of things together. But I guess since you've made your determination, then that's all there is to it.
