It's too bad that more Christian conservatives didn't have a hard look at George Bush and his policies. Anybody who looks at, really considers, what a Christian is supposed to be and stand for cannot honestly point to the actions of George Bush and call him a Christian. Anybody who understands conservatism knows that george Bush is anything but conservative. He's a radical greed-hog, a corporate shill, but he is certainly not conservative.

I'm so sick of this whole "liberal Vs conservative" thing. That article was good though. I don't trust any politicians, because ALL of them usually cater to the big corporations, while saying fuck you to the American people. I mean, there's not much proof of the oil thing(or course the assumption is great)but I slant towards what the site says about Saddam not being a threat. I mean, North Korea and Iran are more of threats I think than Saddam. I bet if the US had attacked Iran, Saddam would have done a better job of keeping people from entering Iran than Iran is doing about people entering Iraq. What needs to happen is everyone needs to stop being such herd animals and take politics as an independent. When people become a liberal, conservative, or democrat(I would consider them moderate republicans haha)they start to live under a unified policy that often times will leave them not agreeing with certain aspects of the party, yet they will go along with it because they are a "democrat." Of course, there's those that a democrats/republicans who go against certain things in the party, and bash each other, but when the election rolls around they all join together like a nice little herd, thursting for power and enforcing a viewpoint that often times members of the party might not even agree with.

Yes! That was an alien concept to me before moving south. People saying "I'm a Rupulican" or "I'm a Democrat". Uh, budy, unless they're writing your paycheck... no you're not. You just want to shake the everliving shit out of them and say YOU ARE AN AMERICAN CITIZEN. But they swear allegiance to a party no matter what that party does. So what happens to the politicians accountability? Why do they feel a need to defend their politicians actions? Shouldn't the president be answering to the voters? They just assume because they're republican, they have traditional, conservative agendas and pay no attention to what is actually going on.

My little rant for today. I feel better.

You should read some Noam Chomsky, Johnny. You'll like what he says about the US political system.

Oh yeah...Chomsky kicks cheek... :D

I'm half-way through watching a documentary by him called Manufacturing Consent: Noam Chomsky and the Media...I highly recommend it...

I haven't read any of his books, but I have read some essays...and I always walk away from that feeling...informed...
