The Liberals have a program for all the poor in the globe,
Legals, illegals, refugees or terrorist students under probe,
‘Cause the Third World is part of their political propaganda,
That they push and promulgate every day in their agenda.

And at the UN they often make announcements about peace,
TheyÂ’ll double foreign aid budget instead of decrease,
Canadian taxpayers will pay ‘cause they never complain,
Bowed down by political correctness and Liberal campaign.

They have never asked Canadians even once, what they think?
Done quietly in committee or in council with a wink,
No need for referendums when appointees will change it all,
The Supreme Court will take the call without set dates or recall.

Is bilingualism and multiculturalism being imposed?
By pompous politicians on very docile polite souls?
From a far distant Ottawa place where they play at being bold,
And the people believe them because this is what theyÂ’ve been told.

And without term limits or referendums or recall,
Accountability for taxpayers dollars is in stall,
As they slide the money here and there to friendly foundations,
At arms length of course so no questions about relations.

Billions of dollars hidden from any public disclosure,
Parliament, the Auditor General or any exposure,
And their precious independence cannot take a query,
About the missing billions from a public that might be leery.

TheyÂ’re going to put a safe injection site next to your house,
Implement their needle program for those who are out and about,
ItÂ’s the health part of their harm-reduction policy youÂ’ll see,
These poor people need lots of fee heroin youÂ’ll have to agree.

And these local polarized slanted debates will not be allowed,
And binding referendums or recall will not be espoused,
ItÂ’s the strategies of the socialists that will be imposed,
Eventually youÂ’ll learn to like it or you too will be exposed.

Neighborhood fears will eventually vanish with all those dreams,
To be replaced by urination, defecation and screams,
Occasional HIV needle disregarded on the ground,
While these safe injection sites gain momentum all around.

This is of course a health issue and definitely not a crime,
And theyÂ’ll issue needles and safe-crack-use kits all the time,
Methadone and counseling with every type of explanation,
Your kids will understand the occasional confrontation.

CanÂ’t arrest homeless addicts or move them or put them in jail,
The Chretien/Trudeau Charter of Rights made sure theyÂ’ll make bail,
CanÂ’t stop it because its part of their comprehensive study,
YouÂ’re a nobody without power down there getting muddy.

Why was everything okay when they were in opposition?
Why this conflict of interest when they formed the majority?
Why did they parade their crooked pride and push their authority?

Why were their actions and manipulations so well hidden?
In the Access Act where whistle blowers are strictly forbidden?
Why is whistle blowing considered such a great sin by them?
Why should they completely depend for their appointments on him?

Why do they fly for freebies and fortune from their wealthy friends?
Travel in jet planes to lodges driving fancy Mercedes Benz?
Why do accusations mean nothing when the fix is in?
Do appointees listen to the strains of a soft violin?

Why canÂ’t conflict of interest claims stop this corruption?
Would an inquiry cause such political disruption?
Why do those who should fix things move so very very slow?
Why no referendums or recall for Tom, Dick or Joe?

Was his tiny little red book no more than a big red lie?
To entice honest Canadians with dreams of pie in the sky?
Was their ethics appointee no more than an expensive sham?
Given no power to stop those who didnÂ’t give a damn?

Did those cabinet members have their hands in the cookie jar?
Did some fax their apologies as benign but bizarre?
Should crooked politicians have no set election dates?
Were their reports all hidden in fear of honest debates?

Is this another example of his Shawinigan sting?
Is money being moved quietly while we sleep and they swing?
Will they continue to behave as though nothing is wrong?
Without set dates or referendums will we be forced to go along?

[align=center]The Incoming Terrorists and Refugees to Canada

Your average terrorist refugee has six levels of appeal,
In the normal world this process would be completely unreal,
But in Canada these court proceedings can take ten years,
No one knows whoÂ’s been deported so they never disappear.

Of course the courts are bogged down by all this in and out,
Murderers, rapists and thieves remanded endlessly no doubt,
As refugees appeal their way slowly to the Supreme Court,
And thousands more arrive nightly at the Toronto Airport.

The legal-aid lawyers are enamored by all these strange schemes,
Their ready-made work and projects overlook national extremes,
And itÂ’s all done legally of course on the taxpayersÂ’ dimes,
And one pays attention to these extraordinary times.

‘Cause they designed this scary system to help themselves of course,
Realizing all the time that this was one weird work source,
By using terrorist and refugees to give the impression,
They were helping the poor and destitute in their profession.

But with the courts bogged down thereÂ’s no protection for society,
As they conspire together without impropriety,
As they feather their nests and they all walk tall at City Hall,
Without referendums or recall thereÂ’s no protection at all.

Fix Canada

The Access Act Arrangements

Chretien and his clan set up a scheme to keep the people out,
To hide and conceal what he and his Liberals were all about,
They called it the Access Act to censor and stop and conceal
What they didnÂ’t want to answer and not ever reveal.

This Access Act was just a cover for their censorship show,
Prevent and delay the public from knowing what they should know,
Used scores of civil servants in these thankless arduous tasks,
And pompously pretended they were busy behind their masks.

They called themselves coordinators of communications,
A fancy name for censorship to prevent implications,
Contentious issues should die or never see the light of day,
Nothing that might embarrass their politicians on display.

They viewed transparency as tantamount to treachery,
Prevent the people from seeing corruption or lethargy,
The cronyism of curious contracts should be concealed,
And secret shenanigans shredded in case they were revealed.

Do Canadians have the right to know the political truth?
Is that such an awful question or am I showing uncouth?
Do Canadian politicians have something awful lot to hide?
‘Bout Bombardier or Shawinigan that only they decide?

Is democracy for Canadians an impossible dream?
No recall or referendums in this dictatorship scheme,
Can’t vote for a prime minister or inquire ‘bout a judge,
Even if he/she has a special interest or secret grudge.

Rev_Blair, I agree with you that (some) poetry does suck, and it takes alot more to write then just making stanzas that rhyme. But anyway, I think you should check out The Ballad of Reading Gaol, Oscar Wilde Its probably one of the best poems I've ever read. And anyway, how do you know poetry sucks? Have you read every poem?

And Shamus, why are you bad mouthing the Commies? The Soviets may have been bad people, but that was because of Stalin. Lenin, the leader of the Bolshevik Revolution and the USSR until 1922-23, afterwards, Stalin took over, and he was the one that warped it. Now, Lenin wasn't the nicest guy, but he was more of a communist, which, is probably the best type of government because everyone is treated equally. However, the problem with Marxism/Communism, is that, it sounds good on paper, but would never work in reality. Because, if everyone gets the same amount of pay for a day, would you work harder then the other guy?
