Am I the only one who finds it strange that US War minister Donald Rumsfeld has dissappeared from the media since the war in Iraq turned sour??
I believe, for the very reason you mentioned, that he has fallen from grace rather badly in the Oval Office.
I think after the next election, he will be keeping company with Gingrich - as in "Newt WHO?"
Which suits me fine....
Rummy isn't actually as missing as we'd all like. While his sinking popularity with the American people has gotten him yanked off of centre stage and will likely have him cast out of the next Bush cabinet if there one, Rumsfeld is still a part of PNAC and it is them who are pulling the strings in the White House.
The war is over, it ended on May 2nd. He was involved in the war - but since the shock and awe has so effectively thrust the people of Iraq into the bliss of democracy and capitalism - his work is done.

Gee mukluk, maybe a little subtle sarcasm would help make your point next time....
Good one.
I just made a mortgage payment...I guess that means the house is paid for.
I heard old Rummy is out touring the world looking for another tinpot dictator to fill Saddam's shoes.......
This time, however, they want one who has a lower IQ so he can't outwit the mighty U.S.
They'll have to find an exceedingly dim Labrador puppy if they want something that can't outwit Georgie.
Too true Rev.....even ants know how to work together for a common purpose..........
