I don't hate the UN. They're way too comical to be hated. If they'd stuck with feeding starving people or running immunization programmes instead of blundering around in climate change or letting the Arabs turn the place into an Israeli-bash-a-thon during their alleged "anti-racism" conferences they'd probably have some of their original credibility left over.

I have little respect for the UN. That was as a result of spending a year in Ethiopia on famine relief and seeing what a bunch of wankers UNHCR were and the incredible amount of incompetent people paid vast sums that the UN employs.
The UN is a non-functioning org that makes the League of Nations look productive.
That said, lowering the UN flag to half mast is expected protocol for the demise of a sitting world leader, even a shitbag like the N Korean knob.
Does that make me a hater or lover?
