$30B to Israel, $20B to Saudi Arabia. Iraq is running about, what?, $500B right now. All borne by the US taxpayer. And they call us socialist?

true enough but id also be saying that if i was in the US as a citizen whos footing the bill for israels existence. they (the US) cant look after their own people properly and going bankrupt but they can go and give billions to another country? its absurd.
wheres the money going?
to things like getting jews to relocate back to israel. they offered iranian jews 30,000 Pounds per family. but they can do that cause the us is paying their national mortgage. its like you putting a roof over a brother inlaws head while they spend their cheque at the bar. while your own kids need clothes
if i was a low/middle income non jew ,american id be pretty pissed off.
and why the saudis need anything is a bloody enigma as well

Are you guys sure the US is giving 20 billion dollars to Saudi Arabia? John Daly made it sound like what they did was sell 20 billion dollars worth of arms to Saudi Arabia.

They are selling 20 billion. They are giving 30 billion to Israel.

They are selling 20 billion. They are giving 30 billion to Israel.
Thanks. For me the devil's in the details. So the US isn't giving $20 Billion to Saudi Arabia as was suggested by posters above. The US is actually recieving a $20 billion dollar investment.
And the Israel deal is spread out over 10 years. It isn't an unprecedented gift. Really all it is is a 4 billion dollar increase over the last 10 year grant. 26.3 per cent of the aid money will be invested in Israeli industries. The remainder will return to America in purchases from American industries.
