Funny thing. They have more oil then they can sell...but the price goes up..

Hit 99.9 in Halifax today. That was for full serve though. It's still 94.9 for self serve regular. I was lucky and saw the sign changing, so I filled up at 86.9 :D

That`s just insane....I thought 84.9 was high.

Sign here said 80.9 when I drove by it, there was quite a line-up. I'll buy gas in the morning on the way to work...it will no doubt cost more by then, but the line will be gone.

Ya gotta love that gas prices go up just as holiday time roles around eh. Gas was 81.9 yesterday here in Quesnel and low a behold, it 91.9 this morning. Me thinks our government and the oil companies are gouging......just a bit.

92.9 here, but i went to the otter co-op because it cost 3 cents less then the posted price

92.4 in Newfoundland

I think it will hit $1.00 by the end of the month

Boy am I glad I got rid of my GTO when I did, chugging as it did 94 octane at the rate of maybe 7 mpg would be hurting me bad right now! 8O

I happened to be in Walkerton - home of the lazy, nepotistic, criminally responsible Koebel Bros et al today - 82.4 - they (not the insane brothers) would have you think that's cheap by comparisons above - and it is - but it's all a set up. . . .

Dam, I miss home and all but stuff like that and da white stuff/occasional hurricane/acid rain and job market reminds me why I reside in paradise.

Topped out at $1.03.9 for self serve regular yesterday! Came back down and settled at 93.9

Seems weird since we have a refinery in the city.........no transportation costs there!!!!

Scape @ Sat May 08, 2004 12:29 am

$1.09!!

I miss the days when gas was a mere 39.9 cents. And that was only 3-4 years ago.

Its at 97.5 here in little TBay Ontario. This is insane but most of it is taxes. We pay 97.5 but natives pay around 60-70 cents, I'm not saying theres anything wrong with that but it gives you a clue at how much taxes are in every liter of gas. If that tax money goes to subsidsizing maybe the purchase of hybrid cars then I wouldn't be complaining. I mean, that would solve two problems, global warming and increasing demand in gas.
