Welcome from Québec City... don't mind Thanos, he's a Saturday night drunk... and Friday, and sometimes Wednesday and Sunday.

A very vivid example of what happens to somebody after imbibing too much of that Japanese Scotch whiskey......

You mean this one...Karuizawa 48 Year Old 1964 Cask 3603?

...at £9999.95 a bottle.

Sorry about that. Thought it was another one of our friends from Rawlapindi dropping by for a late night visit/sales call.

Did you clean up the dog crap? Or since it's frozen will you just leave it til spring?
Thanos @ Sun Nov 09, 2014 1:34 pm
Nope. Haven't done that in years. Last time it was from the anti-inflammatories for my shredded hip that did a number on my stomach lining. The trick is to keep eating. No stomach distress and really just a headache.
Last I looked it was still steaming. Fucking dog. I thought we were pals.

He must be a real hoot at parties, then..
Currently debating an intra-company transfer to Montreal and filing for PR outland or just getting an extension in Londontown and filing outland PR here and then moving.. Anyone have experience with either of these routes?

UK seems to be doing ok these days, Canada seems to be going to the other way.
Don't know if that impacts anything for you though.
And welcome, I see you have met our official welcoming dog already.

Sorry, was out on holiday for the last few days.. how do you mean "Heading the other way?" And, depending on who you ask here, the UK's going down the cr*pper here as well.. (Although, to my untrained eye, everything looks rosy to me, visa expirations notwithstanding

House prices.
Cost of food/electricity/taxes.
Interest rates so low they can only go up.

Did I miss something ?

Hello, all! I'm an American currently residing in London married to a French Canadian woman. I do IT Security/Risk for a living and am looking to eventually relocate to Montreal. Looking forward to virtually meeting you all!
Too cool, we need more english speakers in Montreal.
