Nope, I'm now located in Guangzhou, a city in south China. But I'll move to Ontario soon. ^_^

I have been to Guangzhou. Too bad you will have to live in Ontario.

I was in Shenzen for a long weekend this time last year. A fellow I used to work with in Taiwan teaches there now and loves it.

What did you do in Shenzhen in that weekend? You must have had a lot of fun.
I've many friends in Shenzhen. But I never stay long there. Only for business trip or a stop of my trip to Hong Kong. Can't tell if I'll love it more.

Couple of bars, restaurants.....nothing too special, as I was just visiting from Kaohsiung where I lived for quite a few years. Saw Fort Dafen but skipped the rusty Russian. It wasn't much different than Hong Kong(maybe not as orderly and not as multi ethnic) or what I saw living in Taiwan.

.......skipped the rusty Russian, opted for the rusty trombone instead........

that's it for me tonight folks, you've been a great audience, i'll be here all week, drive home safe and REMEMBER! seat belts save lives!

PS: Raymond from Hyderabad? Shit, even John From Cincinatti got a couple of episodes in before they yanked it.

Yeah, Hong Kong is an orderly and multi-ehnic city, though their public living space is so dense. It's striking when I first time got there, especially when I saw a demonstration crowd moving in the street, with people smiling and in cooperation with the police.
Shenzhen is a different story, messy, dirty, taking to street will get you to jail ...

Actually once you get into the New Territories, you'd never know that you're in one of the most densely populated places in the world
