Goober is a Canadian Military term. It also has a number of meanings. No, it is not referring to the nose thing.
The 911 refers to my trade number
The handle Goober was in use so I added my trade, which was Logistics 911.

Bin Rat. Have not been called that in a long time. Is their a Gunner in your history?
Reason we were called 911. Everyone who came thru the door needed help and it was always an emergency.

My dad was Merchant Navy- 39-49. Myself Army & Air Bases.Navy cooks were the best around.
Retired in 2000. When it stopped being fun, time to leave.
